Alfombras (rugs) are made with flowers, sawdust with coloring added, fruits and vegetables
In my old barrio, the beginnings of more alfombras for the San Francisco procession. There are about 4-6 processions a day all during holy week
The light in the afternoon on the building in Antigua, during the procession
Oscar, behind the guy with the hatchet, carrying the anda
Oscar, a little acolyte, incense, and the boys carrying the anda, which weigh tons
My first glimpse of an Alfombra in progress
Rich royal purple for Christ, in the robes and in the flowers
Ninos procession on Holy Thursday, Oscar peeking, Oscar and the crowds
Wiating for the procession to come to the park
Oscar, Jennifer, Oscar, the kids of my former teacher, Ingrid, and part of extended family that I like and hang out with in Antigua
Oscar and Ingrid, waiting for the Ninos procession

Richard´s room at Suni Solar;Looking down at the construction mess at Suni Solar
Proof I am living with nuns in Managua, looking into my messy room in Managua, Marie, my favorite nun!
Roof Next Door to Nuns house, full of mangos. Sounds like a gun shot when they hit!
